Ferzy Update: 4 New Features are Live!

We’ve received a ton of great feedback from our users that we’re grateful for, and we are happy to announce that some of the most requested features are now implemented in the app.  Let’s take a look at what this new update brings to Ferzy:

1. Country and Language Settings

Searching and filtering results by country and language was one of the most requested features, and we made it a priority to implement it fast.

If you want to do keyword research in a specific language or see SERP results from a specific country, all you have to do is to select the preferred language and country filters from the menu as indicated below.

Press the settings button to open the Show Country/Language Settings filter:

Country Settings Ferzy

Then select your preferred country and language from the drop down menu below.

Your settings will be saved and from now on, the SERPS results will display personalized results taking into account those settings.

By default, Ferzy displays results from Google.com (Worldwide) and uses English as the main language.

2. New Metric: Number of Unique Linking Domains

For each page appearing in top 10, Ferzy already displays the number of links to that page under the Links column, so you can have an idea how many total links your competitor has.

However, we added another link metrics column titled Domains, which shows the number of unique domains linking to that page. You can see it in action here:

Why is the Linking Domains metric important for analyzing competition?

The total number of links Ferzy presents is very useful and it’s considered the default metric used by most keyword research tools, however, only when you complement it with the number of domains linking to that page you have the complete picture and you can properly analyze the data.

We know that 100 links coming from 1 domain are worth much less than 100 links coming from 100 domains when it comes to SEO authority.

If a website has 400 total links, that may look very intimidating and you may think that’s very hard to compete with, but if you see that those 400 links come only from 3 unique domains, suddenly your analysis changes, and you realize competing in that space is more doable.

Having access to both Total Links and Linking Domains metrics for your analysis is the optimal way to do keyword research, which is why we decided to present both of them in Ferzy.

3. Estimated Number of Visits

We added a new column titled Visits that shows the estimated number of monthly visitors that a particular SERP position can bring to your website.

You already probably know that the number 1 position gets the lion’s share of traffic, but exactly how much does it mean and how is the rest of the traffic distributed to the other SERPS positions are presented in our Visits column as indicated below.

4. Sorting Keywords by CPC and Search Volume

A small feature perhaps, but it’s the little things that make all the difference. Now you can you sort your keywords according to CPC or Search Volume as requested by many of you, by hovering over the specific column and pressing the sorting button.
